Covid-19 Updates

Your safety is our top priority here at Racer Dining. We closely monitor COVID-19 guidelines directed by Centers for Disease Control and government officials to make sure we are bringing you the most up-to-date information as we continue to navigate through the pandemic. Our teams have worked diligently to implement robust policies and procedures aimed at keeping our students and staff safe.   • Students, faculty, and staff are required to wear a mask when entering a dining facility or standing in a dining line.
  • Masks are required to be worn until the patron sits down at a table. When the individual is seated, they may take off their mask. 
  • Masks are also required to be worn when the patron gets up from the table.
  • Contact surfaces such as counters, kiosk screens, and door handles cleaned continually throughout the day with antivirus solution.
  • All locations with seating will be closed for 30 minutes between meal periods so our staff has an opportunity to deep clean and sanitize the facility.
  • Additional cross-contact training for all employees to prevent the spread of germs.
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations at the entrances and exits of all on-campus restaurants.
  • Signage in restrooms encouraging hand-washing.
  • Tables where available have been spaced apart for social distancing. Seating at other dining locations has been removed.
  • Additional seating has been added in the modular dining room outside Winslow, as well as picnic tables across campus.
  • All dining facilities have been reconfigured to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
  • Floor signage installed at all dining locations to help keep patrons six feet apart and guide the flow of traffic.
  • Continual review of CDC, government, and health department procedures to provide updates in guidelines.
  • All silverware and cups will be disposable at this time.
  • All self-serve stations around campus are now operated by an attendant.
  • Partnership with Grubhub for mobile ordering pickup at on-campus retail restaurants, including Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Einstein Bros Bagels, Steak 'n Shake, Tres Habaneros, and SubConnection.
  • The Bite app allows mobile ordering pickup at Winslow Dining Hall. Daily menus and nutritionals are also found on Bite.
  • Contact-free transactions by scanning your new RacerCard with our register scanners.
  • Masks worn by all employees.
  • Plexiglass installed at all counters and pickup locations.
  • Enhanced hand-washing procedures for all employees.
