Mindful by Sodexo is Racer Dining’s  health & wellness approach that helps you make healthy choices second nature! We are committed to creating healthy environments for our customers. Central to this effort is providing healthy, nutritious foods. The result of this initiative is an approach that focuses on transparency of ingredients, delicious food, satisfying portions and clarity in message so that you can make Mindful choices! Mindful offerings meet stringent nutritional criteria based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Each meal part is limited in calories, has fewer than 30% of calories as fat, fewer than 10 % of calories as saturated fat, and is restricted in sodium, and cholesterol. Look for the Mindful icon to indulge in the healthy and delicious items offered at each meal.

If you have food allergies, celiac or non-celiac gluten intolerance (or have friends that do), Simple Servings is for you! This innovative resident dining platform was developed to address the growing number of students who arriving on college campuses with special dietary needs. Simple Servings' plain and simple wellness-promoting foods also appeal to guests who are focused on ingredients and/or portion sizes for weight control, blood sugar control or other health reasons. All foods served at Simple Servings are prepared exclusively with ingredients which do not contain the following food allergens:

  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Wheat
  • Soy
  • Shellfish
  • Peanuts
  • Tree Nuts
Nutritional information for all menu items can be found on the dining locations menus, on the Racer Dining website, or on the BITE app. Additional information can be found by visiting the Healthy Eating page on SodexoNet.
The BITE mobile is a guest's avenue to an amazing dining experience. Guests can search for Murray State Dining and discover what's being served, rate their dining experience, and provide feedback that goes directly to the Murray Dining Management Team. The app provides nutritional and allergen information for all menus items listed and allows guests to track what they're eating with the FitBit app.
The Dining Services Culinary Group is a student advisory panel that any student can participate in. Group meetings are held each Tuesday and allow students to give their feedback about menu items and the dining program to the Murray State Dining Management team.
